Latest Litter!
After a trip to the vet to verify how many kittens she was carrying, (4,) and another trip the next night to verify everyone was still ok, (they were,) Binx gave birth to her second litter early on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010. Around 2:00 am, I heard the unmistakable sqwaking of newborn kittens. Binx was no where to be seen, so I looked in her favorite spot--my sock drawer. There was our new mommy, with 2 tiny babies. I put her in the box I'd gotten ready, and #3 was born before 3:00. Amazingly enough, the bedroom light didn't wake Sean, but it WAS the middle of the night, so I turned off the light and left Binx to "do her thing" in peace.
By the time we got up at 6:00, sure enough there were 4. Mom and babies appeared to be doing well. My sock drawer....well, it may never be the same.
